Welcome to the “Nunavik Youth Hockey Development Program” (NYHDP) website! Here you’ll find everything you need to know about what’s going on with the program.

In 2006, Makivik and the Kativik Regional Government started the NYHDP, as a way to promote education and healthy lifestyles for the youth of Nunavik. Administrated in collaboration with former NHL player Joé Juneau, the program is offered to all 14 communities in Nunavik, from Akulivik to Kuujjuaraapik and Kangiqsualujjuaq.
