Kujjuarapik is Nunavik's southernmost village and is nestled in golden sand dunes at the mouth of the Great Whale River.

It is unique to the Territory in that it is a bicultural community of Inuit and Cree. The village is also officially designated Poste-de-la-Baleine, making it one of the few places in Canada with three official names.
