Everyone! That’s right all Nunavik students of the Kativik School Board can join the program free of charge! So that means all you need to do is check with your local NYHDP rep or with your teacher or principal and you can be part of this exciting program. So what are you waiting for?

Do I need my own equipment?
No, the program is setup so all you need is a willingness to play hockey and do well in school. We have the equipment you need so come by and check it out. Of course, if you have your own equipment you’re more than welcome to use it.

Do I need to know anything about hockey?
No, the program is designed to help you learn about hockey and how to play it. How much you play is not determined by how good you are on the ice, but rather how well you do in school. So keep going to class and you will continue to play!
